Once
we received your profile form, reviewed it and are confident
that we can provide you with a relocation package, tailored
to your requirements, we will ask you to sign and return a
copy of our acceptance letter. At this point we will email
you a link to the payment section of our web site. This will
enable you to complete the necessary payment details.
We will then forward you our “Leaving the UK “information
pack, to assist you in organising you move from the UK. If
you choose not to proceed with us, Once
we have received the first part of our fee, we will commence
our property search. We will locate and inspect 3 properties,
which fit as near as possible your requirements.
We will carry out a digital photographic survey of each of
the properties, and forward these to you with a description
of the location of each of them, indicating any relevant points
raised by your profile.
If none these properties are suitable we will endeavour to
source 3 more, but if these also prove unsuitable, we reserve
the right to terminate our contract, and the initial payment
would not be refundable.
We must point out that should you be bringing your pet with
you, we may well find it difficult to source more than 3 properties,
as many landlords are not very happy at having pets in rental
properties. If we are able to source a rental property in
this situation, you will probably be required to provide an
increased bond, and the landlord will require you to have
the carpets professionally cleaned on your departure.
Once we have your approval on a property, we will get the
rental company to arrange for a rental agreement to be drawn
up, which we will then forward to you to check, sign and return
to us with the necessary bond and rental payments. At this
point, we will arrange payment of the remaining 50% of our
fee. – The rental agreement is between you and the
landlord, the bond being held in a trust
The next stage will be for us to forward to you a list of
furniture and household goods that you may wish to hire prior
to your own belongings arriving in New Zealand. You should
then indicate your requirements on this form and email it
back to us. We will then check with the hire company that
all the items are available, then as with the property rental,
we will forward the rental company's hire agreement to you
to sign and return with the relevant monies. – The
rental agreement and payment of all rental monies is between
you and the rental company
We will arrange to have the goods delivered and placed in
the various rooms prior to your arrival.
In the final week before you leave the UK, we will forward
to you a grocery list, which you can fill in and email back
to us. We will then arrange to have the goods delivered a
close to your arrival as practicable. We will ask you to pay
for these goods, when we meet you on your arrival in New Zealand.
As
part of our service, will provide for your use, until your
belongings arrive, what we have called, for want of a better
description, a “Survival Pack”
This will consist of the following items:

Electric Kettle
- Toaster
- Iron
& Ironing board
- Basic
everyday dinner set for up to 6 persons
- Bedding
to service the beds you have hired
- Towels
- Basic
Cooking Set
- General
household cleaning wares
- And
to help you over that first 24 hours a pre-prepared meal!
These
will be returnable to us when your own equipment arrive, or
if you have rented furnished accommodation, in a period to
be agreed prior to your arrival. We reserve the right to make
a charge for any loss or damage. Once we have your travel
details, we will arrange for you to be met at the airport
and transported to your new home.
On the day after your arrival, we will visit you at home to
make sure you are settling in, and we will provide you with
a “Living in New Zealand” pack, and will take
some time to answer any questions you may have about your
new home and country.
