Q:
What does your leaving the UK packs contain?
A:
They contain useful information on packing up your belongings, shipping arrangements, what you can and can’t bring, what to do about your UK pensions, money transfer etc
   
Q:
What about our pets?
A:
There’s no problem bringing your cat or dog, our Leaving the UK pack contains all the information you need, together with links to a well established company specialising in overseas shipment of animals.
Unfortunately the pet rabbit, guinea pig, gerbil etc, won’t be able to come.
   
Q:
What should we be bringing with us?
A:
We will provide all the items necessary for you to live a normal existence, ie bedding, cookware, cutlery, microwave, etc, etc. All you need is your clothes and personal effects.
   
Q:
What happens when we arrive at the airport?
A:
We will be there to pick you up and transport you to your new accommodation.
   
Q:
What about groceries?
A:
Before you leave the UK we will obtain a list of your basic grocery requirements, which will then be purchased and unpacked at your accommodation the day before you arrive, so that once you get inside your new home you can have that cup of tea or coffee, without having to worry where the shops are.
We also arrange to have a pre-prepared meal made so you don’t have to worry about cooking.
   
Q:
How will we find our way around?
A:
The day after you arrive we will come and collect you and take you for an orientation tour around Christchurch or wherever you are living, showing locations of all the local services, shopping centres, schools, parks etc.
We also provide an Arrival in New Zealand pack which is packed with useful information about New Zealand in general and your chosen location in particular.
   
Q:
What about schools?
A:
In New Zealand where you children go to school depends to a great deal in what school zone you live, so when discussing your accommodation requirements we will always research what schools are available in the area you have chosen and the quality of the schools, and if necessary advise on other areas that contain better quality schools.
   
Q:
What about bank accounts?
A:
We can help you set up your bank account prior to arrival.
   
Q:
How much are your fees? Do I have to pay for everything upfront?
A:
We charge a deposit so that we can start working with your to fully prepare you for moving to New Zealand. Once the deposit has been paid, you will receive a package with information. What we charge depends on how much of a level of service you will require, so terms of final payment can be agreed.
